Glass Expansion Helix CT Locking Screw with Seal
Helix CT Locking Screw and Seal. A replacement Helix Constant Torque Locking Screw and Seal. This is what secures the nebulizer in Glass Expansion spray chambers and creates the gas tight seal between the nebulizer and the spray chamber. To ensure a gas tight seal replace the seal every 6 months.Damage to the Helix CT insert of a TFE spray chamber can occur over time due to overtightening of the Helix CT locking screw. This will happen if the Helix CT seal is worn and you continue to tighten the locking screw, this results in the nebulizer being pushed further into the spray chamber and the locking screw going past the threads of the Helix insert. Essentially stretching the softer TFE material and slowly deforming the Helix CT insert. D-Torch body assembly with base and inner tube, compatible with PerkinElmer Avio 200/220 Series ICP-OES. Injector adaptor (31-808-3782) not included, compatible with PE design N0790141 & PE Avio injectors. A precision-engineered, demountable torch, incorporating a ceramic inner tube for greater robustness & demountable quartz outer tube (501907259) that can be replaced when it fails rather than replacing the entire torch. D-Torch also features an interchangeable injector, allowing installation of a specific injector, whether it be for aqueous (~2.0mm ID), organics (<2.0mm ID), high TDS (>2.0mm ID) or HF (alumina). The D-Torch is the only design with an optional ceramic outer tube (501907262). The quartz outer tube is ideal for most applications while the ceramic outer tube is best for high TDS, organics, or HF matrices.
